Public Hearing Date Set
A public hearing date has been set for the Resolution for Removal of Designation as Reserve at 53 & 81 Salisbury Avenue for July 5, 2021.
Speaking to City Council at the Public Hearings
If you wish to address Council orally in respect of the Resolution for Removal of Designation as Reserve at 53 & 81 Salisbury Avenue, you must send an email to email@example.com indicating your desire to speak, not later than 3:00 p.m. July 2, 2021. You will then receive a reply email containing a “ZOOM” meeting invitation for approximately 4:00 p.m. with a link to join the meeting. When it is your time to speak the Chair of the Hearing will ask the ZOOM Meeting Host to bring you into the meeting to speak.
Groups and individuals, including agents who have registered to represent four or fewer other affected parties shall be allotted a maximum of five minutes to make their presentations. Agents who have registered to represent at least five other affected parties shall be allotted a maximum of ten minutes to make their presentations. Further instructions and information will be included in the ZOOM meeting invitation.
Individuals wishing to address Council in the capacity of agent for one or more other persons at the Public Hearing must register with Legislative Services by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and declaring their intention to act as an agent at the Public Hearing and must submit a separate, completed, signed Agent Declaration form, which can be obtained by requesting email to email@example.com, for each affected party that they will be representing. An Agent Declaration form must be signed and dated by the individual being represented and must be submitted by email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021.
Whether or not you are speaking at the Public Hearing, if you desire to write to City Council, you must e-mail your written submission to email@example.com not later than 12:00 noon, Wednesday June 30, 2021. Written submissions received by this deadline will be included in the meeting agenda package that is distributed to Council members and posted on the City’s public website on Friday, July 2, 2021.
Written submissions received by either administration or councillors after the deadline noted above will not be considered at the Public Hearing.
All written submissions must include the name of the person making the submission.
