About Cultivate the Conversation

Engagement encourages participation, action, personal responsibility and democracy. St. Albert’s “Cultivate the Conversation” online platform is a tool to help provide public participation opportunities beyond our current activities; this is especially timely with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a resident, the platform offers you several useful input tools and rich media in one convenient place and is available for use 24/7.

All you need to do is create an account (one-time process) providing a user-name, email address, age-range and postal code. Once registered, you can provide input on all project sites at a time convenient to you. If you wish, we can update you as the project progresses through its various phases. The site is moderated by the provider 24/7 to ensure appropriate use and a positive experience for everyone.

There is a range of open and structured engagement environments, including discussion forums, idea-generation boards, interactive mapping, storyboards, polls and surveys. We will also be able to use the software to evaluate programs that the City provides to residents.
