Last year, I made several complaints to the City about these E-Scooters.

The people that are riding them do not follow the rules of the road, nor do they follow the rules about using them properly, where to drop them off. Certainly not on peoples lawns, left on the sidewalk blocking the pathway.

This year I witnessed a truck hit a young man in a crosswalk, the driver did all the correct things, as I was following directly behind him. He looked left, then right and left again, he proceeded to turn right and then the E-Scooter came into the crosswalk without stopping at the corner. I am sure the driver thought he had plenty of time, seeing this person was probably 50 feet from the corner, a judgment call on his part, the person would not be close to the corner in a few seconds, wrong, these E-Scooters are on the sidewalk doing 30+km.

I have seen these scooters left on the grassy areas of the boulevards for 4 days or more. Littering up our neighborhoods.

I have witnessed these E-Scooters with 2 people on them driving on the road, then you give them a beep of your horn and you get the finger and they slow down.

Time to put these units out of commission, do not negotiate a new contract with these firms. Surely St. Albert can make up for the License revenue somewhere else
