Mixed-Use Development on Downtown Parking Lot

Partner with private industry to facilitate a mixed-use, high density structure on the City-owned Downtown parking lot. (E.g. underground public and private parking, retail/office on ground floor, residential on upper floors.)

City-run seasonal campground/RV park. Could generate $600,000 annually, minus expenses.

City-run seasonal campground/RV park (e.g. near Meadowview Drive, Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park, River Lot 56, Carrot Creek, etc). Quick math guestimate: ~100 RV sites X ~$40 per night X ~150 nights between April and October = ~$600,000 per year, minus expenses).

The city needs to ensure that they are looking at cutting costs and looking for efficiencies in the current administration

The city needs to make sure they are being cost-effective with what they are doing before they start looking at how they’re going to generate more revenue. they need to ensure they’re being fiscally responsible with the current expenses and budget first!

I heard that Social Media Influencers can make a LOT of money. :-) The City could become one.
