The City of St. Albert is currently developing Jennifer Park, identified as Neighborhood Park 1 in the Jensen Lakes Parks Master Plan, and values your feedback on design choices. Your input will help in determining the park and playground style, features and overall design.

    The City of St. Albert is happy to announce the completion of the latest Jensen Lakes neighbourhood park – Jennifer Park.

    Jennifer Park is a small neighbourhood park, 0.21 hectares, and connects pedestrians from Villeneuve Road to the Jensen Lakes community. The park includes a signature tree in the park entrance from Villeneuve Road, rock seating, a naturalized planting area, beach-themed playground, and edible plantings for public harvest.

    Enjoy the park! Plans are in the works for a grand opening event in spring 2024.

    Thank you to those who participated and provided their feedback on the Jennifer Park public engagement. The valuable feedback and information that the project team received were used to select the successful playground design submitted by MacQueen Playground Installations Inc. (MPI). The Jennifer Park playground design along with the results from the public engagement can be found in the What We Heart Report.

    Construction on the park will begin in summer 2023 and more details on construction will be shared in the coming weeks!

    On April 3, 2023, an open house will be held to update area residents and provide an opportunity for the project team to receive feedback about the design and potential playground structure.
