Alcohol in Designated Park Spaces Pilot Program

The City of St. Albert thanks all participants in the Alcohol in Designated Parks Spaces Pilot Program. This pilot has now ended and no consumption of alcohol is permitted in City parks at this time. The results of this pilot will be shared with Council for future decisions in spring 2022.

The City of St. Albert thanks all participants in the Alcohol in Designated Parks Spaces Pilot Program. This pilot has now ended and no consumption of alcohol is permitted in City parks at this time. The results of this pilot will be shared with Council for future decisions in spring 2022.

The City of St. Albert ran a pilot program to allow residents to responsibly enjoy alcohol at designated picnic sites in select St. Albert park spaces from September 1 to October 31, 2021.

Parks involved in the pilot were:

  • Kingswood Park
  • Lions Park
  • Rotary Park

Your feedback will be shared with City Council to inform future decisions on the consumption of alcohol within St. Albert parks.
