Consultation has concluded

The City of St. Albert is currently designing Element Park in Erin Ridge North. Element Park will become the northernmost park in the City of St. Albert! This community park will complete its design in 2025 with funding for construction identified in the 10-year capital plan.

Element Park, identified as West Community Park in the Erin Ridge North Parks Master Plan, is seeking your input and feedback on design choices. Your input will help determine the park and play area, features and overall design.

Your input along with considerations of budget, available space, plans for other neighborhood parks and partnerships will help to influence decision-making.

The City of St. Albert is pleased to announce the completion of Element Park in Erin Ridge North.
Element Park is the City’s most northern park! This park space includes an outdoor rink and parking lot, social ice, a bouldering wall, play area and open green space. To allow for vegetation growth and final construction activities in the spring, no ice will be installed this coming winter season.
Next fall (2026), a public art installation will be completed on the back side of the bouldering wall. The bouldering wall will serve as a canvas for a mosaic tile public artwork.
Enjoy the park! Plans are in the works for a grand opening event this spring (2026).
