Final Playground Design

Thank you everyone who provided feedback on the Hodgson Park Playground replacement design.

Your valuable feedback and insight provided to the project team was used to select the successful playground provider, Habitat Systems, and design. The final design of the Hodgson Park Playground and the results from public engagement can be found in the What We Heard Report. The playground design emphasizes feedback provided through public engagement.

• An emphasis on the play elements of hanging, sliding, and swinging, but all seven play elements are incorporated into the design.
• Play diversity, including the incorporation of play features for different age groups, height, and co-play opportunities.
• Incorporation of partner colours of blue, red, and yellow.

Construction on the playground is expected to take place later this summer/early fall. More details about construction will be shared shortly.
