What We Heard Report

Thank you to all that participated in the engagement events for the Jensen Lakes Parks Planning project. We are pleased to share the full What We Heard report for feedback received during the engagement period. Please use this link or navigate to Key Documents on the right of the screen.

What's Next?

The project team is using all the information provided, alongside considerations of financial feasibility, City-wide recreation and parks needs, technical constraints and other inputs to develop the next steps for each project. This includes:

1) Detailed design for the Jensen Lakes Connector Park. This design includes the full technical specifications required for construction.

2) Parks Master Plan for Jensen Lakes Phase 2. This plan will outline the planned future development of parks within Jensen Lakes Phase 2. These parks will be constructed alongside the pace of development, and will take many years to fully complete. Further public engagement will occur through the detailed design process to ensure plans remain reflective of community needs and desires.

Both these plans will be provided on this webpage once completed and anticipated to be complete by March, 2026.
