Farmers' Market Pop-Up

The Land Use Bylaw (LUB) is one of the most important land use planning documents for a municipality. It guides day-to-day review planning and development activities. The last major update to the City’s LUB was in 2005. Since then, the document has been revised and amended in response to emerging issues.

The City now wants to update the LUB to reflect the vision and goals set out in Flourish, the City’s Municipal Development Plan and to create a document that reflects evolving development trends and the need for more flexible and responsive development regulations.
