Welcome to the Oakmont Trail Project

This project will ask residents for their input about the potential options for completion of the Red Willow Trail System along and into the Oakmont neighbourhood.

The project is divided into three segments:

  1. Old Bellerose Trail
  2. Oak Point to Otter Crescent
  3. Oakbay Point to Botanica

We are eager to work with you to better understand your views on the pros, cons and trade-offs of different ways to complete this area of the Red Willow Trail system.

We will keep you informed, listen to and acknowledge your concerns and aspirations, and provide feedback on how public input influenced the decision. We will seek your feedback on drafts and proposals.

Thank you to those who submitted their thoughts, ideas and concerns around the Oakmont Trail project. These responses will be invaluable in determining whether to connect the Red Willow Trail system along the Oakmont neighbourhood, along with how best to do so.

The results from the multiple engagement opportunities have been compiled into an Overall What We Heard report. Separate reports for the discussions held with adjacent landowners, the Botanica Condominium Board and our Indigenous Partners can also be read.
