Seeking input to help inform the design for Redpoll Park, a new neighbourhood park located in Riverside. Community feedback collected during this engagement will help shape the overall layout, features and priorities for the park based on how residents expect to use the space.

Seeking public input to help refine specific elements of the Chanter Park design. At this stage, feedback will focus on improving how park features are arranged and experienced within an established site layout.

Seeking input into the redevelopment of the Hodgson Park Playground. Input will assist the City with determining the eventual playground theme and play features to be included. Hodgson Park is located in Heritage Lakes and is the largest of seven parks in the neighbourhood.

Whether on foot, cycling or driving, we all have places to be and want to get there safely. Riverside residents have reported road safety concerns and submitted them to the City of St. Albert through an application for traffic calming, and the neighbourhood was confirmed as eligible for the Traffic Calming Program.

<h2> What is the solar farm project and why is it being proposed? </h2>The City of St. Albert has proposed building a solar farm to provide a sustainable source of power for our community, generate revenue, and undertake an environmentally friendly project on the City-owned Badger Lands which are less suitable for other purposes.To minimize tax increases and maintain existing services, we need to identify new, non-taxation sources of revenue to generate approximately $6 million a year. Due to the significant nature of this project we want to ensure we are doing our due diligence and being as thorough as possible. As a result, we must delay presenting to Council on July 13, 2022, but anticipate this will be before the end of summer. Updates will be shared on this project page when a new date has been set.
