Windermere Playground Survey

The Windermere Playground, built in 2002, is being replaced and the City is looking for your feedback on the proposed designs. The new playground will include a variety of play features and structures for children ages two to 12 years. All equipment including the sand surfacing, will be designed and constructed in compliance with Canadian Safety Standards (CSA). The construction of the playground is planned to be completed in August 2025. 

Note: There are 13 playground design options included in this survey. Please evaluate all 13 playground designs as your feedback will help determine the preferred playground design and help identify areas of improvement for the finalized design. When evaluating the designs please ignore the backgrounds and focus on the play equipment. Your input along with consideration of budget, available space, and neighbourhood needs will influence the decision-making process.  

If you are an adult responding on someone else’s behalf, we recommend you work through the survey with them, as much as possible. If you are responding on behalf of multiple playground users, please do your best to reflect multiple opinions.
