About Lions Park
Lions Park is a beloved City Park in the heart of St. Albert that provides opportunities for community gathering, hosting year-round events, bookable spaces and everyday use for residents.
Lions Park Design Project
Lions Park needs revitalization to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the community. This work is part of the regular lifecycle of the park which sets up the space for future generations to enjoy. The design of the park will maintain the natural features of the park, but minor changes may be needed to improve the safety of park users.
This project is limited to Lions Park. No changes will be made to the nearby land, parks or public spaces, as shown by the park boundaries on the map below. Construction is dependent on future funding approval.

How to Get Involved
The project will have two phases of engagement. The first phase is workshops for interest holders, including groups that hold large events in the park. During this phase, information will be collected around what works well within the current park and what could be improved.
The second phase will be for residents to provide feedback on amenities, layout and other design elements.
Your input, and City standards and guidelines, will shape how the park is designed.
